About the Worshipful Master
I am honored to serve my second year as Worshipful Master of Edenburg Lodge No. 550, F&AM.
I believe a strong Lodge is built on ritual, fellowship, and members who are active and engaged.
This year, I want to re-engage our Brethren who have been away from the lodge and reignite that spark that brought them to the light.
My plan is to keep our Lodge active by scheduling plenty of activities in and out of the Lodge room.
I want Edenburg to continue to be welcoming, and meaningful for every Brother - and I want to ensure that Edenburg Lodge remains a place where Brothers wish to spend their time.
It is a privilege to lead this Lodge, and I am grateful for the trust placed in me by the Brethren.
My challenge to our Brethren is to encourage greater participation by attending at least one more meeting and/or event than you did last year.
Worshipful Master = the highest-ranking officer and elected leader of a local Masonic Lodge, acting as its president for a one-year term. "Worshipful" is an ancient honorific meaning "respected" or "honorable," rather than implying divine worship, and "Master" denotes his authority to lead, govern, and preside over meetings and rituals.
